We’re Looking for a Graduate C# ASP. Net Developer!

We are looking for a creative developer to join our team.

The Role:

Denca are looking for a permanent employee in the North West to supplement our ASP. Net MVC / C# / SQL Server internal programming team.

The position will initially be centred around the development of an internal application controlling every aspect of an evolving business including purchasing, reporting, CRM, quotations and cost control. The system has been in use/development for 2 years and we require the right candidate to design and develop new features and functions.

Denca are an industrial systems integrator and the job will also lead to working with our market leading customers with similar data driven applications.

This role is based at our offices in Widnes and occasionally at our clients’ sites.

Key Activities:

  • Development of .Net application for internal processes to guide an expanding company through its evolution and development.
  • Considerable design input to system development & strategies.
  • Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation, configuration and documentation.
  • Working to internal or customer deadlines within a project team.

Essential Requirements:

  • Computing degree
  • Technical aptitude
  • A keen interest in computer programming.

The work will involve interaction with internal departments and project teams so good communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment are essential.

The Role:
Responsible for the management of project activity throughout the business, key objectives are:

  • Development and control of project plans covering all areas of the business for new project introduction.
  • Management of the multi discipline roles within the project(s).

  • Regular review and reporting to the management team on the project status.

Key Activities:

  • Development and control of project activities including project timing plans.

  • Creation of project risk analysis.
  • Creation and control of project spend including gap analysis.
  • Chairing of weekly project meetings ensuring that all disciplines attend.

  • Report to senior management on a monthly basis the status of the project.

Design and implementation of Control Panels, Control Systems and hardware engineering activities for a variety of industrial applications.

The candidate should have proven experience in mainstream CAD Systems e.g. AutoCAD and E-Plan.

This role is based at our office in Widnes and at our clients’ sites.

Key Activities:

  • Develop control systems from customer’s specification or internal specification.
  • Provide design input to system development.
  • Involvement throughout whole systems lifecycle, from design through testing and commissioning.
  • Working within project team to customer deadlines.
  • Installation and configuration/testing work at customer sites.

Essential Requirements:

  • Engineering / Computer related or appropriate engineering qualification (degree/HND) or comparable industrial experience.
  • We expect a minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • PC literate with skills in at least AutoCAD or E-Plan.
  • Good client facing skills. Must be able to work as part of combined client/contractor team.
  • Knowledge of PLC system design.
  • Willingness to travel and work away; when and if required.
  • Willingness to work flexibly both during the week and at weekends, should the need arise.

The candidate should have proven experience in mainstream PLC Systems e.g. Rockwell (AB), Schneider, Siemens, and Mitsubishi or similar.

This role is based at our offices in Widnes and at our clients’ sites.

Key Activities:

  • Development of PLC system design from customer requirements.
  • Design input to system development.
  • PLC programming of control systems from given designs (customer URS).
  • Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation (FDS/FAT/SAT).
  • Working to customer deadlines within a project team.
  • Installation, configuration and testing work at customer sites.

Essential Requirements:

  • Engineering / Computer related or appropriate engineering qualification (degree/HNC/HND) or comparable industrial experience.

We’re Looking for an Instrument Technician!

We have an excellent opportunity for somebody to join our team of 7 highly skilled technicians in a permanent position.

The Role
The main role will be as a service and calibration technician. Some project work and commissioning will also be included. You will be required to attend various sites mainly across the North West, with some requirement to work away.

Key Activities:

  • Service and calibration visits to a wide variety of sites and industry types.
  • In-house calibration and repair to a range of instrumentation.
  • Assist in the continuous development of apprentices.
  • Provide input to the continuous improvement program within the department.
  • Upkeep and improvement of our calibration database.

Essential Requirements:

  • Engineering / Technical related or appropriate engineering qualification (HNC/HND) or comparable industrial experience.
  • Excellent mathematical and english skills, along with good attention to detail.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience to fulfil requirements of this post.
  • Excellent client facing skills; you must be able to work as part of a combined client/contractor team.
  • Knowledge of Endress and Hauser, Vega, PLC’s and general instrumentation.
  • Willingness to travel and work away when required.
  • Driving licence and own transport. (All work related mileage is reimbursed)
  • Long term commitment is essential due to training and customer experience requirements.
  • A COMPEX qualification and experience would be an advantage.
